SACMI Packaging & Chocolate can boast 115 years of experience in - and an in-depth knowledge of - the chocolate production and packaging industry.
SACMI is, today, the only company in the world able to offer, through its brands, Carle & Montanari and OPM, machines and complete lines for the preparation and moulding of chocolate, traditional wrapping, flow-wrapping and secondary packaging solutions for food and non food products.
Its product range is as broad as it is diversified. It spans from individual machines and complete lines for chocolate preparation (mixers, pre-refiners, refiners, conches and temperers) to intermittent and continuous-motion moulding lines.
On the wrapping front, SACMI Packaging & Chocolate offers an extensive machine range able to wrap all chocolate-based product types in a range of styles: traditional and special wrap pralines, tablets and bars, hollow figures, eggs and small spheres, not to mention an entire series of wrappers for hard and jelly candies.
With regard to primary packaging, SACMI Packaging & Chocolate has a tried and tested range of flow-wrap machines, distribution lines, feeding and buffering systems for the confectionery world, designed around the basics of TPM principles with emphasis on ergonomics and sanitary design.
The proposal integrates with a wide range of solutions for secondary packaging (tray forming, cartooning, case packing and robotic solutions) for the automated insertion of the products in boxes, displays and American-type cases.
